⁃Remove the bandage the morning after you get your tattoo and wash it with warm soapy water in order to remove all of the blood, plasma, an excess ink.

⁃Dry it with a clean paper towel, and let the tattoo air dry until skin isn't moist any more - roughly 10 minutes.

⁃Remove the white backing side and place the adhesive side on the skin so that it completely covers the tattoo. Peel the 3 red pieces off of the top using the labeled seams to leave the thin plastic bandage, completing step 2. Use as many pieces as you need to have at least a one inch border around every edge of the tattoo - completing both steps for each piece before starting another. Overlap pieces if you are using multiple.

⁃The Second Skin stays on for 5 days. There will be liquid accumulated under the bandage. It’s normal. Do not worry.
⁃You can shower and do everything normally. Just don’t scrub near the edges of the Second Skin while showering. Ignore the area unless it begins to leak. If that does happen, you can wash off anything that has leaked out, dry it, and place another small patch over the affected area.
⁃In the event that the bandage is coming off on its own and exposing the tattoo, it should be totally replaced. Take the Second Skin off in the shower, wash the tattoo again, allow it to dry completely and reapply fresh Second Skin.

⁃After five days, remove the bandage in the shower and wash the tattoo with warm soapy water. After this, the tattoo will mostly be healed and you can use a basic, unscented lotion if the tattoo is dry and itchy.

⁃Occasionally the bandage will have a slight strange smell, but it is rare and minor, and nothing to be worried about. A minor rash that forms around the edges of the bandage can also happen, and generally has more to do with hair growing than any sort of allergy. It will go away quickly after the bandage comes off.
